BCH supporting the environment

We’re excited to be part of the exclusive community screening of ‘Regenerating Australia’ which is the latest short film from director of ‘2040’ and ‘That Sugar Film’, Damon Gameau.

This uplifting and inspiring short film takes the perspective of a New Year’s Eve TV news bulletin in 2029.  It looks back at this pivotal decade for climate action and celebrates all that has been achieved.

As part of the screening there will be a panel discussion and displays on local regenerative projects that are helping communities find ways to regenerate Australia.

Included in those discussions will be members of the Bellarine Community Health Healthy & Connected Communities team who are partnering with ‘Farm My School’ to launch a pilot project at Bellarine Secondary College Senior Campus in Drysdale.

Farm My School takes a whole-school community approach and creates educational farms, transforming schools into regeneratively farmed closed-loop food hubs that promote healthy eating, ecological stewardship, and climate resilient communities.

All are welcome at the screening at the Potato Shed in Drysdale and if you go along early you can experience the Journey on Wadawurrung Country exhibition currently showing at the venue.
