‘Be active’ is one of the focus areas of Live Well Bellarine.

Our goal for ‘Be active’ is to get more children, young people (aged 0-18 years) and their families across the Bellarine Peninsula moving more!

We are doing this through our local ‘Active OUR Way’ project. This project involves working directly with our community and using a co-design approach to design and create local actions to getting active in ways which suit them!

We are proud to be working with three school communities on the Bellarine on this project:

  • Leopold Primary School
  • St Leonards Primary School
  • Portarlington Primary School

We are also working with a number of community partners and supporting organisations to help us deliver this project.

We were lucky to receive a VicHealth – Healthy Futures JumpStart grant in 2022, which allowed us to begin this project.
