We are excited to offer this Part Time (0.8 FTE, 4 days a week) ongoing opportunity to join our Finance team as a Finance Assistant, based in beautiful Point Lonsdale. This role reports to the Senior Finance Officer and provides assistance within our efficient and supportive team of Finance Assistants.

About the role

The BCH Finance department is a part of the greater Corporate Services team, and is comprised of a professional, friendly and collaborative team.

The Finance Assistant is responsible for the accurate input of information, through the everyday activities of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, while providing an excellent standard of customer service. The role requires a high level of computer literacy, including strong competency in MYOB, Mastercare, eTOOLS, and Microsoft Office. The Finance Assistant operates within a timely manner and possesses an attitude of continuous process improvement.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working in a finance/accounts team.
  • Experience working within a health setting that has different funding streams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build positive relationships and work in a team environment.
  • A commitment to quality improvement.
  • High level competency in MYOB, Microsoft Office, and Client Management Systems.

Conditions of Employment

  • A current National Police Check (within 6 months from date of application)
