We are excited to offer this Fixed term (6 month) opportunity to join our Finance team as the Finance and Administration Officer, based in beautiful Point Lonsdale. This role reports to the Senior Finance Officer and provides assistance within our efficient and supportive Finance team. This role is available Full Time, however Part Time may be considered.

Bellarine Community Health (BCH) is the major provider of primary health care services to the Bellarine Peninsula. BCH is a not-for-profit health care provider with close links to our community operating from five sites – in Drysdale (two sites), Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale and Portarlington and in community settings across the Bellarine.

About the role
The BCH Finance department is a part of the greater Corporate Services team, and is comprised of a professional, friendly and collaborative team.
The Finance and Administration Officer is responsible for the accurate input of information, through the everyday activities of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, while providing an excellent standard of customer service. The role requires a high level of computer literacy, including strong competency in MYOB, Mastercare, eTOOLS, and Microsoft Office, will operate within a timely manner, and will possess an attitude of continuous process improvement.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Experience working in a finance/accounts team.
- Experience working within a health setting that has different funding streams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build positive relationships and work in a team environment.
- A commitment to quality improvement.
- High level competency in MYOB, Microsoft Office, and Client Management Systems.
