  • Based on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team on a permanent full-time basis and provide high quality 1:1 therapy both in centre and home visiting, as well as group based activities. A clinical specialty such as Neurology, Vestibular Rehabilitation, or previous experience with group and cardiac rehabilitation programs would be considered positively.

Bellarine Community Health (BCH) is the major provider of primary health care services to the Bellarine Peninsula just 20 minutes from Geelong.  BCH is a not-for-profit health care provider with close links to our community operating from six sites – in Drysdale (two sites), Ocean Grove (two sites), Point Lonsdale, and Portarlington, and in community settings across the Bellarine.

BCH delivers a broad scope of health services and wellbeing programs for all people in our diverse communities. Services include child, youth and adult health, community nursing, dental services, palliative care, Home Care packages, social support, exercise programs and primary prevention.

About the role

As part of the Primary Health team, the Physiotherapy service operates from BCH sites across the Bellarine Peninsula. The Physiotherapy service works closely with a wide based multidisciplinary team to provide tailored, 1:1 and group services to a variety of client demographics and funding streams.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivery of Physiotherapy services to Adult clients within the Primary Health Services, with support from a dynamic team of health professionals.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • BSc Physiotherapy allowing registration in Australia
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team of health professionals
  • Supportive and client focused approach
