In May 2022 we launched the BCH 2022-2025 Strategic Plan.
The new Strategic Plan sets out the goals and priorities for BCH for the next few years and guides financial sustainability and potential growth for the organisation.
This Strategic Plan will guide the organisation and the services it provides over the next three years. The process to develop the plan has also built community awareness and understanding of some drivers facing BCH in delivering health services under the Community Health model.
The engagement process to develop the plan included extensive consultation with stakeholders, clients, and the local community.
We invited Communities on the Bellarine to attend two community forums in Point Lonsdale and Portarlington. We asked participants to get involved in workshops, small group discussions and other activities around health and wellbeing.
We also encouraged the community to complete a survey on our website. This provided additional information for us to understand the community’s future needs and aspirations as we build a stronger and responsive BCH.
