BCH welcomes Virginia Todd to the Board.
Virginia is a resident in Queenscliff, and recently retired. She has served for nine years as board director for Barwon Health and chaired the Primary Care and Population Health Committee for six years.
Viriginia brings significant expertise in professional strategic planning, policy development and governance to BCH, skills she has gained through decades of public service experience and community leadership.
In her professional career Virginia has worked as a senior manager in the Victorian Public Service for 26 years on community strengthening programs, youth services, partnership brokering across State, Commonwealth and Local governments for collaborative urban growth area planning, urban revitalisation in central Geelong and delivered major infrastructure projects.
She has significant experience in local government, having been a Councillor and Mayor for the former City of Geelong West and Manager of Human Services at Moorabool Shire.
Virginia is looking forward to making a meaningful contribution to what she considers to be the key to the future of effective health services delivery.
