Being active and moving more helps keep us healthy and happy. There are many reasons why it can be hard to be active and many ways we can work together to try to make it easier.
We are working with others in our community to create supportive, safe and welcoming environments for children, young people and their families to be active.
We know that a great way to move more during our day is through active travel. This can include walking, cycling, or taking public transport. We want to make it easier, safer and more enjoyable to get around the community without a car.
We are also supporting women and girls to be active. We know that when women and girls feel supported, safe and welcome, they are more likely to get involved or try new ways to be active and much more likely to feel good about being active.
