Robert James has lived on the Bellarine Peninsula with his family since 1987 and has worked as a GP in Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads for 32 years.
As a General Practitioner, Rob has been involved in managing a large two–site multidisciplinary medical practice which has given him suitable administrative and financial experience in the delivery of health services to the community of the Bellarine Peninsula.
Throughout his professional career, Rob worked closely with the service providers of Bellarine Community Health, and watched it grow from its formative years in Point Lonsdale to the large organisation it currently is. Rob is pleased to be able to serve as a Director of Bellarine Community Health and to contribute to the growth and sustainability of BCH into the future.
For several years, he has been a board member of the Brennen Benevolent Trust, a medical charitable trust which provides equipment grants for wide ranging areas of medical research.
