Tim Walsh (Deputy) has 40 years’ experience as CEO in the Community Health/Primary Care sector. Services managed include North Richmond, East Preston, St Albans and Casey/Cardinia Community Health and South East Metro Alcohol and Drug services, Mental Health and Responsible Gambling Services.
Board/Industry experience includes:
- Member of the Ministerial Review of Community Health in the 1980’s
- Board positions within Health Industry peak bodies – VHA and VAADA
- Current Chair of YCW Holdings Pty Ltd
Tim also has had extensive Board experience in the Racing Industry as President of the Victorian Harness Racing Club, Member and Chair of the Harness Racing Board and Board member of related bodies including TAB, Radio 3UZ [now RSN], Bookmaker Registration Board etc. He has participated in National and International conferences.
Tim has had long–term engagement on Bellarine for over 50 years, and has been a permanent resident since 2014.
He is a Member of Portarlington/Drysdale Lions Club, Bellarine Aged Care Association and Lions Aged Care Village Committee.
Joining the Bellarine Community Health Board in 2018, Tim is currently the Chair of the Quality, Risk & Safety Sub-Committee.
