We are excited to offer the Youth Reception/Administration Officer opportunity for an experienced receptionist or administration officer to join our team to support our team across our Drysdale and Ocean Grove sites. This role is part time, 3 days a week, until 30 June 2025 (with potential for a contract extension).

About the role

The Youth Reception/Administration Officer role is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Youth team, working across our Drysdale Youth services and headspace Ocean Grove sites.

Providing reception and administrative support to all team members of BCH Youth services and headspace Ocean Grove satellite site, the role’s purpose is to facilitate a high level of care for young people. This role will provide professional and confidential administration services to support effective service delivery and day-to-day functioning. The role is essential to ensuring the youth service is perceived by young people as accessible, youth friendly and welcoming.

Also providing reception support to various clinical staff to ensure the smooth running of services, this role is generally the first point of contact with the public and will work collaboratively with all staff in a fast-paced environment.

We would like to hear from you, if you have…

  • Experience working in an administration and/or reception role within a similar environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with young people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • A calm and responsive manner with the ability to manage a busy, fast paced environment.
