BCH welcomes Mark Harris to the Board.
Mark has lived in Ocean Grove for the last 22 years.
As a local clinician and Health Manager in Geelong, he has worked hard to develop health services in the region during this time.
He is at the forefront of the Healthcare Industry in the region as Director of Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WVPHN) since 2012 and Hope Bereavement Care (Hope) since 2016.
Mark has valuable knowledge of our local services and believes strong business governance is the foundation for better primary care.
Mark is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and has Honours Degrees in Science, Physiotherapy and Master of Business Administration.
His qualifications and board experience will enrich the skills of the BCH Board.
‘As a board member of BCH, I would advocate strongly to provide better health care to our growing community. My work in Ocean Grove as a practising Physiotherapist and as a Deakin University lecturer in Population Health, continuously highlights the importance of a regional focus on disadvantage across all Bellarine communities.’
