Bellarine Community Health is excited to be sharing ‘Live Well Bellarine’ as part of our Health Promotion Plan (2021-25).
Our health promotion work aims to keep our community healthy and well and prevent people from getting sick in the first place. Our key focus areas are eat well, be active and tobacco-free living. These are from the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan (2019-23) & the G21 health and wellbeing pillar priorities. We also align all our work with our local government health and wellbeing focus areas.
Our Healthy and Connected Communities Team (HCCT) is a very passionate, friendly and highly skilled team. We work across the Bellarine Peninsula and have a focus on those who have the greatest challenges to good health. Working with others in our community is central to our work.
We thank the Department for Families, Fairness & Housing for funding our four-year Health Promotion work.
