Eating well helps keep us healthy and happy.  There are many reasons why it can be hard to eat well and many ways we can work together to try to make it easier.

We are working with others in our community on projects that will make it easier for children, young people and their families to:

  • Eat more vegetables and plant foods
  • Drink more water and drink less sugary drinks
  • Eat more locally grown and sustainable food

We know that our connection to food and our connection to the environment are strongly linked.

Which is why we are supporting our community to eat well in ways that make it easier to eat local and sustainable food.

This includes supporting local preschools, primary schools and secondary schools in their sustainable food journey through Little Growers, Farm My School and the Geelong Youth Climate Leadership program.

We would like to thank the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing for their support through Engage! 2022-2025 funding.
